Old Newbie!

Hi, I'm Rob. I've just joined and am seeking advice on setting up (buying) a reef nano system. I kept a marine tank for 10 + years including cultivating corals but gave up when I moved home 9 years ago so I'm out of date with current trends and options. I want to get back in with a low maintenance option to keep e.g. some soft corals (torch, zoa etc) and a couple of gobies. Absolute max 20 gallons or 70 litres. Ideally smaller. Although I still have so much marine gear in my garage, its seems very much out of date in comparison to current gear when I've visited shops like Maidenhead Aquatics and looked around. The Blue Marine and the new TMC nanos look nice. Any advice greatly appreciated. Thanks

#WelcometoR2R!!! Most of the gear can probably be used (hard to say without specifics). It may not be as power efficient, but often ok. Lighting is an area to focus. Also, controller technology and automated testing have gotten a lot better but neither are requirements. Good luck with whatever you choose!

thank you, my main tank was about 100 gallons plus sump and I had all of the right gear BUT it appears very old compared to recent gear. So I decided to start afresh but small!
