Talked to ecotech, they recommend two for my 48x30x24 aquarium, is that really enough for sps? I know they are a lot higher wattage than the sol blue, as well as wider spread, but would it be enough coverage?

I don't have a PAR meter, but the light meter on my DSLR says the 3 Radions over my 180G are VERY bright. :)

That's good to know, just to clarify that's 24 tall on the dimensions. I guess they have better spread than I thought. I think I might be able to make that happen if I only need two.
I guess off I really needed one more I could add another down the road.

On my 180, each Radion is lighting approximately a 24"x24"x24" space with a good bit of overlap.

Yeah I guess I'm only worried about my 30 inch front to back measurement.

I have one over an Eco 28 and it rips. I run it from 8am to 8pm and it ramps up to 30% output for about an hour a day then ramps down until 8pm. My corals are all loving it. This thing is bright and the spread as well as color rendition is phenomenal. I will be adding SPS corals as I ramp it up to full output by the end of December. For now I only have Chalices, Blastomussa merletti, Favia, Scolymia australis, Lobophyllia, a Crocea clam and they are loving it!

How about you buy four and if you think it is too much, you can send the extra ones to me...

Hmmm perhaps if you put down a deposit first lol.

Man it's tempting to pull the trigger.
Maybe this time next year lol
