OrionN's 320 Reboot

I have this red turf algae in my tank. Very resilient and the tangs and angels, and damsels love it. They deep this bright red algae mow down to very short. I believe that this algae is a huge source of healthy food for my herbivores. Picture right in the middle of the tank

Any idea what it is?

My Regal Angel and his stripe evolution over the last year. About 1 inch to 2.5 inches. Really does not matter what the stripe is like, not having the dorsal fin spot likely will result in significant mis barred. IMO

As the Yellow chested Regal angel developed, there is a phase where mine become dark, as can be seen in the two middle picture above. For several months, I thought that mine may turn out to be blue/gray chest rather than the yellow chested angel.
So, CB Regal Angel owner, don't worry when your Regal turn dark at about 1.5 inches or so.

I don’t think I ever tried to offer nori and romaine at the same time. Always one or the other. Tanks and angels seemed to really like the romaine (I soaked it in boiling water for about a minute first).

Hope to be back in the game soon. My display is up and running and I started cycling about 2 weeks ago. Learning patience…again!

I did not know you got out for a while. Let me know if there is anything I can help you with

Both clips complete gone today. It was a good amount. Even more than 2 sheets of nori I normally feed my tank. Tomorrow, at home I will be able to see how enthusiastic the fishes go after this Brasella spinach’s

Purely my fault. Lost power for several days after the hurricane last summer (and only a tiny generator). The entire tank died. Have a much larger generator now and won’t have any trouble running everything. Still learning after all these years! The silver lining is I was able to organize all the plumbing and electrical much better.

Thanks!!

It will be interesting to see how they like it.

Now that they learned to eat Brasella leaves, I did not microwaves it this AM, but attach it raw. The fishes seem to eat it fine. No problem. It is a lot easier to attach the eaves securely when it is not all limped from getting nuked. I think it also may retain more nutrients uncooked.

My Blonde Naso today. He is a far cry from a tiny thin Naso I got from Petco 1 year ago. Color not fully come in yet, but I think it is on it's way. I think there are two tiny trailers started on his tail.

I did not get home until after5:15 PM today. All my tangs are full and all my Brasella spinaches are gone this afternoon. They like the spinach nuked for 2 mins in microwave better than uncooked. I have a feeling they like the Nori better but will see after I feed them for several weeks.

I took pictures of my tangs. Here are pictures of my Dejardini, that document the pattern changes as he grown over the last 1 year. Sorry for the bad pictures from 1 year ago. He was much smaller, and much shyer then. Often he was chased by the Purple and Powder Blue tangs
