I figured i needed a somewhat catchy title that did not immediately imply an acro pack to lure any lps heads into one of my threads. You can be more than certain that i was not going to throw up some variant of the ubiquitous "hammer time" but I had to try my best to rope some of you in for this one.
Most of the time in rare visits to my supplier i don't even go near the lps. I don't have room for them and they just don't enthrall me like acros do. I am just not really drawn to them. I have sort of pigeonholed myself as an sps guy fine. So be it. Well the last time i was down there I couldn't help but notice the glowing dare I say (clears throat and softly says) yellow hammers. Now I get it. To say yellow is almost taboo at this point but these things just pulled me in from across the room! And i wont even go on calling them "yellows" but what they are, are just insanely vibrant branching hammers that i could not resist!
These pics are true to life. No enhancement whatsoever. I shot them in RAW under radium 250s and all i did was pull the blue out in lightroom. If you'd like details about my camera and setup just ask. Ill be happy to share:)
So here they are
55.00 each
Also got this Aussie brancher that is by all comparison and i know this is a tough color to utter and get away with but..........orange. there I said it
Three heads 155.00
While i was shooting LPS I went and got a good one of this frosted mummy eye. Grown from a smaller piece and in my system over a year now. like I said earlier I am not much an lps guy but I like this one especially the white striped rim. The orange eyes glow!
