I’ve tried 3 different pumps and they all haven’t increased the turnover at all
So what happens with the larger pumps? More water in the display, less in the sump? Does the tank overflow?

jabeo 15000 is rated for something like 3500gph+ more than enough for your tank.

Your overflow will tune itself to the flow of your return pump up to it max GPH it can handle.

If you are putting a larger return pump in your sump and the flow through your overflow is not increasing, and your tank is not overflowing there is something wrong with your return plumbing or the return pump.

Do you have a valve somewhere on your return line?

The picture seems to show a hang on tank overflow, is that right? These sometimes gets air stuck in the U siphon tube, resulting in reduced flow.

I don't think it's the pump. I run a 15000 on my WB 330.7. I really have no idea but if water isn't flowing down the pump isn't pumping much up or the tank would overflow.
On another note I would look elsewhere for the cause of high N and P. Many people do not even run socks or other mechanical filtration and have no problem with elevated N and P levels.

I see a few issues. The flex lines have low points. This allows air to collect in them and reduce the flow. Long runs with no drop also limit flow. If the overflow is an eshopps the u tube that goes from the interior box to the exterior box have a habit of collecting air, and are only rated at 1000gph if everything is running correctly.

Yeah, he has an external overflow, but we can’t see his weir, we can’t see the pipes inside the box. Don’t know if he has a gate valve, a ball valve, it’s just all speculation until he shows more of his setup.

If you have tried 3 different return pumps at max power and the overflow is still only trickling down while the tank is not overflowing with water, I think it may have something to do with your return line plumbing. Are there any leaks in your return line? Do you have any valves on your return line that may be reducing the pump flow?

That was it. Thank you. I changed the return valve with a bigger one and now the tank runs perfectly.
