No I can't. Someone posted about doing an overflow box with a tank that wasn't drilledI've got a low profile side wall mount.
but I was reading your early post that you can't drill your tank?
Ok!See my build thread.
If you can't drill your tank, I suggest you get a Tidal Filter that hangs on the back. I have a couple in different sizes and they work very well.
Meh, I'm trying to move everything out of tank that's distractingIf you can't drill your tank, I suggest you get a Tidal Filter that hangs on the back. I have a couple in different sizes and they work very well.
Tidal 35 HOB Power Filter
TIDAL hang on filters are designed from the ground up to provide the aquarium with high-quality, easy to implement, comprehensive filtration. While having a system plumbed with an overflow and sump certainly has its advantages, this isn’t always practical. In some situations, space constraints...www.bulkreefsupply.com
Just wanting to try something new. I don't like the bulky hoses. I would keep the canister if I could find a way to incorporate these intake tubes and find some different clear tubingBest of luck. I'd help, but I also use a canister filter.
Why are you wanting to change it out?
Thats a 30 gallon with fluval 406 filterI don't know what you have but I upgraded from a 29 gal with canister to my 40 breeder/20 gal sump system recently. It can be a chunk of change to spend depending on what you get.
I see, they can be a bother for sure. Have you tried looking at adapters for fitting up from tube to those intake lines?Just wanting to try something new. I don't like the bulky hoses. There are really only four ways to do it, I think. An internal filter (don't recommend), the hang on back filter, canister or plumb to a sump. I have been impressed with the stuff my Reef Octopus skimmer pulls out of the water. And that is after it goes thru a sock with filter padding. Having a sump gets most everything off sitting on the tank.Just wanting to try something new. I don't like the bulky hoses. So I have the same tank you have on your build thread just different dimensions. I didn't know it could be drilled. Did you drill yourself?I don't know what you have but I upgraded from a 29 gal with canister to my 40 breeder/20 gal sump system recently. No I'm not sure what to do lol maybe you could help me.I see, they can be a bother for sure. Have you tried looking at adapters for fitting up from tube to those intake lines?
