Interesting. I had not heard of it. Not sure what I’d do differently if I had the information but still pretty neat.

I'm in the same boat - would be interested in what some of the reef chemistry experts here would think is useful with this?

I guess you could do a whole tank treatment if there was some bad pathogen/bacterial infection...??

@Randy Holmes-Farley thoughts?

There is a sample report on the site -

Especially Uronema and vibrio detection for those deadly issues that kill your fish or cause your corals to demise . Rather than just guessing . Our tanks become very valuable over time . Usually at great expense to restock fish and corals

Looks like they test for the various types of acro bugs and parasitic copeopods also.
Might have to put fork out and try it, would be interesting to see what it picks up...not cheap though!

Ask them what they bring to the table that isn't already done by Aquabiomics. How are they different.

These guys are based in Australia, so I would imagine its probably the same test?

Have you done one of the Aquabiomics one's before? Did you find it useful?

I think the various company dna tests can be interesting. What exactly one does as a consequence of them is much less clear.

The more interesting cases, IMO, can be testing of commercial products, such as bottled bacteria, fish hatcheries, and rock/sand/invert holding situations, where it may impact whether folks choose to use those products.
