What brand and type of paint is everyone using to give their stands interior a nice bright white and protective finish?

Waterproofing the interior of my stand.

What is the best water proofing paint for the inside of my aquarium stand? I plan on sealing it completely to hold water in case of an accidental spill? Thanks Patrick

I am building a new stand and was going to put down some shower liner in the bottom to help control the water you end up with around all the equipment. Has anyone used Flex Seal to waterproof the inside of their aquarium stand?

Hey guys i am building a stand for a fish room and was curious what paint you guys use to hold up to water and humidity. Ive seen some people paint the inside of the stands where sumps are with paint that does well with getting wet/exposed to condensation.

I used this to paint the inside and outside of mine black it is very high gloss. It only comes in black and white.

a little sanding, some filler and a coat of paint made my Marineland stand half decent looking.

No worries. If you need more ideas, just search here, and you will get a lot more threads. They usually have same info as the ones above, as most folks use relatively same type of primer and paint.

I used Flex Seal to cover the bottom of my sump area to make cantainment area for any sump related accidents.

I used oil based white exoxy paint. Worked perfectly. You can see pics in my build thread.

I used the truck bed liner. It is water proof and super durable. I love it...if you can do it in a very well aerated area...very smelly!

@paja3 Here is a great thread on a custom stand that speaks to painting the inside with some Rustoleum appliance epoxy. The whole thread is really great write-up and several others emulated the design in their own way.
