8 hours with 1 hour ramps on each end.

I just removed the baggie of GFO, hopefully the GHA doesn't take over again. I'm hoping just Vibrant will be enough to control the algae while also leaving some nutrients in the water.

That's the thing, I can't seem to achieve that balance. There was a time when I actually fed my fish and my coral like everyone else, I did so for months. Then GHA took over. Everyone said feed less, feed less, you're feeding too much. So I cut my feeding amount in half and it kept growing. Then I quit feeding my coral and it kept growing. Then I bought a skimmer and it kept growing. Then I started running GFO and it kept growing... lol. The pic I included of the HA everywhere was when I was running GFO, feeding minimal, weekly 25% WC and skimming wet. The algae didn't care, it took over and grew on every surface except the glass itself. Then I add Vibrant in the mix and the scale immediately tips to the other side full force... it's frustrating.

Most of us have def been there. And new tanks do change a lot on their nutrients. Plus led if your running them are actually a trick.

Look at this as a reset though. The vibrant IS going to kill that stuff. Its not using nutrints as a weapon, its different. it acts as an algaecide. there's several on the market on is what most would have turned to in the past.

So now that you've got a reset on the tank, and you have more experience balancing the nutrients in your specific tank, and it's older, you should have a great new year.

My only bits of advice really is wait to the end of the vibrant does and help it by scrubbing. Dont let algae back in the tank by dipping and maybe coral qt, and set your light with a par or lux meter and balance to that.
The idea there is just like using a higher cal and alk salt mix. it becomes a constant in the equation and you follow those set numbers. If the corals pale not enough food, if they brown too much. leave the light constant.

fwiw I haven changed my lights in 7 months. I feed like a pig DAILY. almost all frozen juice and all. I have an undersized skimmer and a large refugium. this year the 55 has been great. Last year, not so much. the newer 30g this year has been, shall we say, A challenge.
