I've got my hands full with the paper. The tank was ordered as a pair for a basketball player or something and only 1 got set up. This tank was going to installed at a local LFS and sit for awhile before it was decided to let go. The real trick is getting the paper off without scratching the acrylic. But so far so good, nearly 50% done

KVery nice post. It opened my eyes to a couple of ideas as I have a 660g acrylic arriving next Saturday. Mine too is a peninsula but will be against a wall until we head to Florida in a couple of years
I like how you laid plumbing on top as this tank I thought had a retarded elevated plumbing design. I do have a canopy to conceal all plumbing .here is pic of unit before cherry wood was applied to it permanently. Your work is skillful and of great quality.

I understand on the paper, a blow dryer will assist in easy peel off ( I assume the low heat)

Looks awesome! Great job on the stand and trim. Looking forward to more updates.
Thank you, it's been a slow progress, but I'm getting closer to being able to dedicate some more time to it.

Wonder why the paper was so hard to get off the tank... usually it's pretty simple. Was this stuff glued on or what?

Did some more canopy work today. Finished the column on the other side and added some of the shiplap. I'm looking at installing linear actuators for the side openings of each shiplap sections.
