How long has it been established? I think the most danger is with very well-established DSB... if it’s less than a couple of years old, and taken out gradually, should be ok.

Maybe someone else will chime in with tips/tricks to removing it.
It has been in for about a year, it is working quite well though as my nitrates are always very low

@4FordFamily @HotRocks and @ngoodermuth, I made a stupid mistake last night and miscalculated my copper dosage when doing a water change before adding the fenbendazole. I just tested and realized that I went from 1ppm to 1.7 and they've been in that for 12 hours, luckily everyone is fine including my six line. I'm getting ready to end the fenbendazole bath and I'm wondering if I should maintain the current level or drop it back down

If they are tolerating it fine after 12 hours, I’d just let it go. Needs to get up to 1.75-2.0 anyway.

I have somewhat of an update on the new tank for Baby Dory, Joe at Fish World has still not been able to get ahold of the guy who has it. He said the guy used to stop by at least once a week but he hasn't seen him since everybody took up the generous collection for her. We still have a while to go while she is coming out of hypo and graduating to observation. I can fit a 4ft 120 gallon tank in the spot where my 55 gallon is now, and use most of my existing equipment, if I make it a custom built in and put both blue hippos in it. I can probably make up the difference in cost if I trade in some corals and my maxima clam. I am able to take care of all the labor but I wanted to make sure that everyone who has donated is ok with this before I decide to go this route. @ckalupa @tdlawdo @JBKReef
@Robb1414
@Dolelo96
@Seadoc
And everybody else who has donated supplies and equipment

Got tired of looking through the pages... I see the regal tang is doing better but hows the yellow tang?
Unfortunately we lost him :(. He ended up having an infection that we didn't catch in time due to the prazi resistant flukes.

It really did, it was hard to share it with everyone
I bet, a lot of people are emotionally involved at this point.. have you stopped by that Petco again? Hope they're doing better. The one near my house has had some fish like that, but when I've tied to purchase them, they've said discounts aren't allowed... I guess that rather the fish die :/ you're a fish hero though!!

It’s ok by me it was not a donation with stipulations.

Thank you! I guess the discount depends on the management, I had one employee offer as low as 75% without his manager's approval on another sick fish but I didn't buy it because I wouldn't accept less than free due to how bad the fish looked and the fact I would have been perpetuating the problem and getting in over my head

You do whatever you think is best. The donation was for your efforts not a mandate.

Other than the missing tank guy, you said most of your existing equipment. What is still needed?
