Petco rescue, two tangs

I have some unfortunate news to share, Mr Yellow Tang passed away.

I did give him a 90 minute bath in fungus cure and started his antibiotics. He looked progressively worse throughout the night and was breathing heavy so I also gave him oxygen and kept an eye on him until about after 4am before going to bed. My wife and I just woke up and discovered him

So sorry to hear. I have read every part of this journey. So proud of you for trying so hard to save these guys.

So sorry for the yellow. I really thought he was better. It might be that when all the flukes came off, it caused a little hemorrhaging. With his weakened state, it was probably too much. But, the flukes would have killed him too. I’m keeping fingers crossed for Dori....

That pic reminds me of an animal cruelty advertisement.

My son-in-Law is currently and my daughter use to be (now she is big cat keeper at the Zoo) animal cops in Louisville. I have seen people get in trouble for far less cruelty!! That fish looks the absolute worse I have seen. Sorry old yeller didn’t make it but hopefully this one pulls through!! [emoji1317][emoji1317]

What a bummer! I've been following this thread, too. With your efforts and everyone's donations. Petco and any other pet store should be ashamed of themselves for allowing animals to get in this condition. I commend your efforts. For a Packers fan, you a have a big heart. [emoji3]
