Maybe to confirm the flukes are truly gone.. I was actually thinking fungus cure bath might be a good idea if he hasn’t had one recently.

I do think I would start the antibiotics, too.
I already started warming up some fresh water incase you said yes, I've only given him the one fungus cure bath on the first night a little over two weeks ago now

I stopped by petco and couldn't let these two fish die without a fighting chance, from all the reading I've done on here it looks to me like they have advanced HLLE. My question is; should I treat for possible bacterial infections or just use vitamins, nutritious foods, and frequent water changes while in qt? @Frtdrmrose7 @HotRocks @ngoodermuth @4FordFamily

The red in the fin could be from the salinity change... I’ve seen yellow tangs get marks like that after improper acclimation.

But, I do think there is an infection otherwise... so I’d still treat it.

Now that he's back in salt his dorsal fin isn't red anymore and he seems to have more energy.

I did do the two doses, I have some fenbendazole on the way (thank you @Mastiffsrule!) But it won't be here until 5/1

Ok good, the dip should buy him a little time with the flukes but you’ll definitely need to work on getting that infection under control in the meantime.

I'll do the bath in fungus cure and start the abx now. Should I consider giving baby Dory a fwd also to check her for flukes?

How does she look and how is she acting? I think I would treat both with the fenbendazole when you get it, since they came from the same store/system likely have the same flukes.

If she looks like she’s struggling, a fwd might help get relief in the meantime... but I would try not to do too many of them, that it stresses her out.

She is hiding a lot between the sponge filter and pvc, she only will come out if I'm out of sight so it's really hard to tell

Hopefully the FWD’s bought them time to get the stronger meds in...

Just to ensure your other tanks are fine, there hasn’t been any cross contamination has there?
I was just thinking about that, I don't think I've done anything that would have contaminated the other tanks

After a couple freshwater dips they do become wary of you and hide when they see you. It does get better after a week or so but that first week they are very reluctant to hang around when they see you coming.

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
