My tank has been running for three weeks, Ammonia spike ended, diatoms in bloom. as of today my tank specs are:
0 ppm ammonia
0 ppm nitrite
2 ppm nitrate
PH 8.0
What is the preferred method of raising my PH? should be 8.1 0r 8.2 for reef keeping so I have read.

Natural seawater, depending on location is 8.3. The pH of your new tank will vary throughout the day. It will be highest at the end of your lighting period and lowest just before your lights come on.
A pH of 8.0 is just fine. Don't try to adjust it at this point.

Dont worry about it at this time. That Ph is actually quite good as well.
