this was my view from seven mile beach grand caymenlast month. I can only hope he atleast sold the conch meat for food. the shells were $5.00 apiece. I was not happy!

Dang it... Now I'm hungry for conch chowder. Sad to see, but considering it has always been part of the diet around there I don't see it stopping anytime soon.

I dont have a problem if someone is eating them and they are following the laws, I hope there not just selling the shells.

On an island like that though I'm sure they probably went into someones belly.

Yup. Conch is on nearly every menu on most islands in several different forms (and most are pretty good). In Bonaire, we took pictures in front of a 15 foot high mound of conch shells at the area of mangrove swamp we canoe'd around. I need a vacation.......
