So I decided to move a green polyp toadstool from my sps dominant tank to my new softie/lps setup. The toadstool doesn't seem to appreciate when I raise the Alk so it seemed like a good move. The sps tank has a case a bubble algae I've been battling for months now. I cleaned the bubble off the rock(or thought I had) that the toadstool is attached to. Well I missed a spot or two and some of the loose bubble ended up in the new tank. While I sat there trying to figure out how I was going to get it all out my pinkbar goby came out of his cave and swallowed it hole. He repeated the process two more times without spitting them out. Has anyone observed this behavior before? I'm not suggesting anyone get one for a bubble algae problem, but it was interesting to see.
