Please help me and pray for my dog

I hope everything went well for you! We lost our black lab Misty a few months back after 13 years - she had the white and gray hair on her snout from old age too.

This is her just a month before she went over Christmas

Max is home now. Hes all drugged up but has been wagging his tail and is very happy :)

My thoughts are with you. I have lost a couple of dogs and it is never easy. I hope Max is fine. Good luck to you and him.

My last was a daddy's girl and I still miss her... definitely will. I still have yet in 7 yrs to get a pup after the last. Had that dog since my senior year in college after losing the one before to cancer. Wasn't really ready, but made the former better half happy and helped her move on, but she really was a daddy's girl. I love my fish and coral, but not the same. I think I misread with my first post anyway we're all here for ya. I've lost a lot to cancer. Not just pets.

Just an update, max had a horrible first night crying all night long even with the hydromorphine so he soent the day at the vet yesterday and when we picked him uo he was back to max! Except of course he is now a tripod. He hops all around like theres nothing even wrong. Hes way stronger than I will ever be, thats for sure

That's very good to hear. My sister had a yellow lab that lost a leg and part of his lung and was still one of the fastest dogs in the neighborhood. Dogs are amazing and special. I wish you both the best.

That's crazy!! Labs are insanely resilient and thankyou!

That's so sad... and dogs are truely more than property, they are friends. Not sure what id do if I lost max. Thanks for the support!

He's doing great! Only thing different about him is that hes hopping on three legs but that hasnt slowed him down from chasing lizards and squirrels and im sure when he gets the stiches out, wont keep him from swimming everyday!
