So my dad has had a 125 ga saltwater tank for 6 years now. He has been able to keep fish for years but most about a month and recently in the past 2 years about a month for each fish, some shorter, and some longer. I refer him to my tank in which I havnt had a fish die yet (knock on wood) from causes other than kamikazes :( He thinks copper solves EVERYTHING!! Sees a fish scratching, big dose of copper, fish dies, big dose of copper. I try to tell him hes making his tank hostile and sterile where the fish are unhealthy and need at least some live rock. I want to know if theres anyways to get rid of the copper. I have thought about taking out the DEAD rock and all ove the sand and then doing multiple, multiple water changes. Would this work?? Thanks in advance
