I have a 1 1/2" drain and (2) 3/4" return holes drilled in my overflow.
There are two return holes drilled in the overflow box.
I am running a Quiet One 4000 return pump for now.
So, what is my best option?

1) Split the return from the return pump and run separate lines through each 3/4" return. If so, what's the best way to do this?
2) Plug one return hole and split inside the overflow box
3) Plug the return hole and one of the return holes in the overflow box

I am open to any options or ideas. Flow inside the tank is not going to be an issue.

Thanks.

So your saying you have two return holes coming through the bottom of the tank and four returns out of the overflow box. Or you have two overflow boxes.

Sorry. No, I have two return holes coming through the bottom of the tank and two in the overflow box (1 on each side).

Always Tee off under the stand, inside the oferflow box is a PITA. Use 1" up to the tee, then use a 1" tee that has 2 3/4" sides, and 1 1" side, then put each 3/4" end up into the 2 3/4" bulk heads. I would put a union under each of the bulk heads first to allow for easy dis assembly.

Not sure what you are willing to consider here, but I might be inclined to consider running the return plumbing (1, 2 or however many you'd like....I do 1.) over the back and using all the drilled holes as drain lines in a kind-of-BeanAnimal drain system. More safety and more flexibility in this route, if it could otherwise work for you.

(Please post a pic of your tank and holes if I've got your setup wrong.)
