Ya, pre drilled the holes for the trim pieces. The bottom is not attached yet, and I am going to build doors to enclose the bottom.

So far so good though!

There are details that are yet to added, like hinges and door pulls! I am also going to trim out the edges and front with something.

Time for another update, I brought the good camera out!

This darn Chromis was insistent to sit here:

This pic has my Tort, pink lemon aid and setosa, should make for a pleasing visual once they are all grown up/

A closer full tank shot:

From the right pane looking in:

And finally, my view from the couch:

So far so good, I am getting very good growth on some pieces, some OK growth on others. I really like the "new" stand, it looks nearly finished. I still have the trim to do, and some sort of decoration to the front of the stand, I am thinking something brass.

Also, I am looking for opinions on the trim and finish moldings, any ideas?

I hope so Rev, I have several tall growers on the right, to fill in opposite the pillars on the left.

I noticed the now enclosed stand was retaining quite a bit of heat, it was noticeably warmer in the stand then room temp. The tank is set for 75.5, and it was reaching 78. That was NOT acceptable! So I dug around in my fish box and found:

IceCap 120mm fan! That should take care of the cabinet heat nicely! :D

Did you have to drill a hole in the side to move the air out or was simply just moving the air around enough to cool it?
