Hi, my probes are getting dirty with a slight algae coating as well as tiny calcium based spots (hydroids?) and I would like to clean them. I see the manual mentions Hydrochloric acid but I do not have access to that. Would citric acid or Vinegar work or would they ruin the probes?

I have redox, PH and conductivity probes.

Many thanks and kind regards.

A 50/50 mix of vinegar and water is enough to clean the probes.

If the probes have corraline algae on them, you will likely have to make a stronger cleaning solution, 60/40 vinegar:water mix.

Thanks! How long should I have them submerged in the mixture?
