I was hoping you would consider stocking an Alkalinity standard with your testing equipment. I know many of us struggle with where our alkalinity is actually at. I have 4 different ways of measuring Alkalinity and there is over a 1dkh spread.

Not sure if the company you get your lab grade materials could offer one. I did see where GHL makes one that is 7.5+/- 0.2dkh. Maybe that would be an option since you carry some other GHL products.

Thank you for at least considering it.

@Brew12 We've actually been talking about bringing something like this on. It's good to know there's some interest. I'll be looking into this more, so don't be surprised if there's something on the site in the near future!

Count me in as a potential customer. I just bought Fauna Marin's multireference solution, which should be useful for other tests as well.

yup I am interested in this too. is there anything currently out like this?

I'm sure there are others, and I know Randy Holmes-Farley has posted a DIY recipe a few times on this site, but this is the Fauna Marin multireference I mentioned earlier.

https://www.faunamarin.de/en/multi-reference-100ml/a-167/

If it's as good as it claims to be, it would be a reliable reference solution for most of the heavy hitters that us reefers test for (alk, calc, mag, phosphate, nitrate, etc)

Salifert has been including a reference for a few years now in their ALK test kits.
I've purchased 2 salifert Alk tests and haven't received one.
