I am running a bubble magus curve 7 skimmer and i just turned it on today tank has been cycling for 3 weeks amonia is at 0 nitrites are .25 nitrates are high but i want to ge tthe skimmer dialed in, well its a foaming mess . will it calm down on its own, i tried to tune it on the dial but its still a mess...any suggestions.

Is it a brand new skimmer? Generally the have a "break in period" where the skimmer will go nuts for a while before calming down. :)
