Pump Speed based on logic

I don't see any way to control pump spped based on programmable logic.

So for example Pump Group 1 is assigned to the chiller feed pump. It operates at runs at 10% to keep water from stagnating in the chiller loop. When the chiller is called t run, the chiller loop pump would ramp to 70% (or whatever the flow rate is that is required) and then ramp back down when the chiller is cycled off. The goal is both power savings and pump ife expectancy.

Plenty of other scenarios too.

I assume somehow "feed mode" could be leveraged for this, but it feels like an awkward fit both in naming and functionality.

Thoughts?

If your chiller is controlled by P4:s temperature probe by activation of a power outlet its easy - the new pump group programs solve this

I had a similar problem - I want my skimmer run at 100 % every time a certain doser is active (normal it runs at 80 %) I did this way and you can have your chiller switch doing the same.

Ahh at first I did not see those settings

I would have never found that - you have to create a NEW program. You can't edit the default! Thanks Lasse!

@Matthias Gross -. Areas like this are were the friendly names in menus are so nice. I have no idea what Switch numbers are assigned to what without going to look. Little improvements to things like this make programming so much easier, especially on complex setups.

The same with Programmable logic - They can't be named in web app and the names of the stuff they control is al indexes or IDs. It is a lot of cross referencing. While I am capable and used to environments like this, I do see how some people can be very intimidated by it and call it "complicated". I think "less convenient" is the word, as it is not adding complication.

Maybe in time some of these things :)

In any case - so glad I can control the pump speed based on other inputs.

My opinion on the subject has not changed. I personally don't think the system itself is at all complicated and is actually very straight forward and logical given the power and flexibility exposed without a coding or scripting interface.

I think people confuse inconvenience with complication. My point was that some small things outside of the actual logic and feature set may help change that perception.
