Genera husbandry question

We have these PSP that is essentially taking over our tank. Wasn’t a concern until it got close to a small frag of Red Planet which now seems like it is having tissue necrosis.

Anyone have some input or similar experience?

I had the same issue. I had green star polyps that were starting to choke out my acros. I ended up taking the rock out and scraping aaallll the gsp off. It hasn't come back and my acros are doing great :)

For sure, actually had some stinging a Red Planet myself at one point. I just buried it under some putty. That stuff can be a serious weed.

Yes. Corals will fight it out for space to grow. The more aggressive coral will win and kill the competitor.

Thanks again everyone for the input. We are most likely going to pull the rock and then remove as much as possible. It just sucks because most of our coral are encrusting finally.
