I ended up with an order of corals before I had my QT completely set up so had to throw it together.

Most are looking good or ok, but 1 of the rock flowers keeps moving around and leaving what looks like a snail trail, slimy and off colored. It has a little black sticking out of the bottom too. It does open and close during the day and colors look ok, should I be concerned?

Also the lights are not good and the sps?? Trees...lol a rent really opening up. Should I dip the birdsnest and pocci and get in DT? Names may be off..

I can leave it up as long as needed.
They haven't been dipped at all yet, just put into the QT. I plan on dipping them all and doing either full water change or at least 50% then back in.

If you didn't put them in your DT yet your good.
Google with the search window on here for dipping threads with or without Bayer.
Just read it good as ppl make two mistakes and that is they don't rinse the dipped coral in saltwater twice before putting it in the tank and they use RODI water which can kill your coral instantly if being dipped for 15 min.
Always use salt water for this and I use tank water that I take out with a water change, so you do a water change and don't waste your water as you use it for dipping.
When done with dipping you can use the dipping water to pour it around your foundation of your house as it will kill unwanted pest like termites and ants.

I've watched a video on it, just wasn't sure info should go back into QT or safe to go into DT? I was worried about the bird's nest and pocci with the low lights too.

And should I be worried about the black stuff on bottom of the rock flower nem?
