Quarantine Experience with Copperband Butterfly Fish

Have you tried your hand at a Copperband Butterfly Fish?

I always keep CBB in my tank and have been to trying to get them pair. I don’t QT in the sense that most people mean but I acclimated my CBB in a reef to get them healthy and eating well prior to release into my DT. This tank is a 40 gal reef I use to QT my invertebrates.
Success with the pair, first CBB pair ever for me. Female smaller than male in these pictures
The female came with heavy Lymphocystis that clear in 2 weeks.

Eats as aggressive as the two tangs in the tank with him!

He is fat and happy!!
It looks like you have a female. Looking for a male and you can pair them relatively easy.
 
Found this article, I will be honest I didn’t even know CBB’s had been captive bred. Another interesting read in how they did so!

I actually use this study you posted to determine the sex of my CBB and get a male and a female to pair them.
