Interesting. What types of food did you use?Tried 4 times, but never once had one survive the quarantine.
At least in Mexico it is, but if you are in the United States it is easier, you can contact your lfs or maybe get it with a sponsor in the forum. Are juvenile regals hard to get then?

I didn’t know they had that available in captive bred!!!
Looks like they are not available currently. That’s okay thought because I have 4 Lyretail anthias in my QT tank right now.Regal angels?
Regal Angelfish SM
Pygoplites diacanthus - The Regal Angelfish is a favorite among reef aquarists for its beauty and temperament, but wild caught Regal Angelfish are difficult to feed and keep in captivity. These captive bred Regal Angelfish are better adapted to life in captivity than their wild caught cousins...shop.thebiotagroup.com
They are 10% off with coupon code END2022 until the 31st.
Be aware these fish are little babies and need tiny foods and a stable system with natural grazing and without bullies. Biota sells the pellets they are feeding. I would get those and masstick. Not many venders carry those pellets so buy some when you buy the fish.
Got mine through QT just fine (now the Hawaiian Cleaner wrasse with it ( ), but ended up not making it in the display.
Two many tangs, angels and triggers... think it was way too stressed...
Darn that sucks! How long did it last in the DT tank.
I added a mirror to the DT when I added my Copperband to ensure they would be more ticked at their reflection them the CBB lol.

I would want to prepare the tank for the Regal anyway with some seasoned live rock, pods, and additional care requirements with research!!
No worries, looking forward to prepping and getting a captive bred one.oops! Didn't notice but they have been getting them fairly often.
It seems that you are correct, look at the latest Biota posts on FB, nice pictures. No worries, looking forward to prepping and getting a captive bred one.
Are the captive bred the orange ones from the Red Sea that have enhanced coloring?
Those are amazing!!!!
Looking good!!Finally home after staying at lfs for 6 weeks. Eats frozen Formula One and mysis.
He was in maybe 2 hours max. I put up a mirror to distract the Tomini then let him out. No other fish cared. Now the CBB pushes his way right up to the food being dropped in.How long are you keeping it in the acclimation box?
I put a mirror up for my fish as well when I added my CBB to DT. Made a huge difference for agression. He was in maybe 2 hours max. I put up a mirror to distract the Tomini then let him out. No other fish cared. Now the CBB pushes his way right up to the food being dropped in.
