Question about my oregon mummy eye

I have had the oregon mummy eye for a few months now and has grown from a small speck that i saved from someones tank. The problem is that it is now about the size of the tile and has only one eye. Is there anything i can do to make it pop some eyes out?

You can spot feed but that is no guarantee it will form new eyes any quicker - but it won't hurt...lol. Some chalices are slower to grow new eyes. The Oregon Mummy Eye is a much slower grower for me (compared to OME). As long as it's growing outward, it will start forming new eyes soon. And it will likely start sprouting multiple eyes once it does.

when i feed chalices, they seem to pop more eyes-when I don't, they tend to grow more surface area. Sort of a balance between the two is the best, but yea, it's a balance.

well i'm a believer in if you frag it makes them put more eyes on.......i fraged my bgm...i cut 7 eyes off and 10 eyes....with in 3 weeks the 7 eyed frag has 11 eyes and the 10 eyed frag has 12 eyes......it seems to pop new eyes almost every day.....not sure if its possable.....but they are just covered in eyes now

I bought a half dollar peice from a guy that had one eye. I had it in my tank for a month and now has 11 eyes.

+1 on fragging it to put on eye. I live in Portland and have about 4 colonies of this right now. I recently cut a piece with no eyes and now it has 11. Anyways it takes a while to get to a certain point and then it will start putting on a bunch of eyes so I bet if you don't touch it too and wait it will get there soon. Took mine about the time it filled up the frag plug before it started going off
