Before I go further - did the suggestions above work? I´m not sure if PL 20 is right. Please let me know because the next step will be complicated and I maybe need to put up one test P3 to see that it is working

I have thoroughly tested. Yes it all works as planned. When timer is on, s2 comes on for 120 sec, then s3 is on for 40 minutes. If fill water 3 low float is triggered, it wont turn s1 on until the timer is complete. If s1 is open before timer, then timer triggers, then s2 opens, then s3 opens until timer is done, then s1 opens and fills until top float stops it.

So all as planned :)

Good to know - I´ll see if I can solve the rest tomorrow. I will be some inverted inverted functions I believe and i think I have to test it :p:p:p

Would it be more stable if I buy a second float sensor? Although I do like the idea that we are trying at the moment :)

Thank you!

Hi again - I tried to wrap my head around this and I think I get some ideas here- NOTE - I have change some things - you need to reprogram the PL and the switch channels a little

I start from the beginning. We need three basic functions. A level circuit for ATO to the main system. A level circuit for the salt mix system and a timer for the drinking water system. here is my suggestions reactions time and other things may have to be adjusted

2 sensors system for the main system. Max on-time may need to be adjusted

The one sensor system for the ATO of the salt mixing system. Observe reaction time on the sensor (red) and no maximum on-time (means that it is deactivated) (blue)

1608048616217.png

A timer - 42 minutes period will have its explanations further on

1608048740542.png

Now we need some programming

We start with the ATO for the main system. You want a backflush before it starts to fill and you want 2 minutes (120 sec) backflush. It means that you need to delay this first step with at least 125 sec.

1608051413932.png

Next step is to define the backflush for the minutes. This step is not the same as before - it is only valid for the ATO of the main system

1608051581350.png

Now it is the Drinking water turn. It is the same here 125 sec delay for the action

1608051869273.png

and a backflush before

1608052032792.png

Now to the saltwater mix station. You will fill it an after that mix and pump it over after the mixing. It is enough with on high level sensor as I said before. It will be inactive when it is filled up and during the mixings with salt. When you start to pump it will be active rather soon and in order to avoid filling with RODI water during the time it empties - a delay is handsome. You say 4 minutes - let us make the delay to 6 minutes or 360 sec

1608052435509.png

Even here -we need a 120 sec backflush. It will be the first two minutes of the six minutes delay but I think that´s not matter.

1608052644865.png

Now the basic modes ar configured - now we nhave to play boll as Franz Beckenbauer - with finesse.

As I understand - the drinking water is the most important tasks for your RODI - it is a certain time every day. It is your solenoid S3. - It is easy - my switch channel 3 will serve S3

1608053253736.png

Your ATO for the main system should not run if timer 1 is active - this is the PL for that. Note the invert function of the timer

1608053691091.png

This should be done by Solenoid S1 and we use switch channel 1 for S1

1608054362152.png

Your ATO for the Salt Mixing station should not run if your drinking water or ATO display system runs. Need a "help" PL here

1608054037426.png

Now we combine this with run of ATO for Salt mix station

1608054569709.png

Connect to a switch Channel

1608054686941.png

Now - the backflush - Solenoid 2

An help PL again

I have configure this on a P3 - can´t test fully out - only two level sensors. You need to test this out. Something that I do not know about is if a DT fill up or the drinking water block the ATO SMS fill up - if it will be a new 6 minutes wait period. It can also happens that it will com multiple pulses to the S2 - if it will be a real problem or not - I don not know.

I have not tested this - please test carefully before you use this

Thank you thank you thank you. Was this one of the more complicated programming recently for you?

Very impressive !

I’ll let you know how it goes.

I´m not sure its works exactly how you want it to do - When your sensor for ATO salt mixing indicate to fill - you have a delayed start on 6 minutes. If you are filling (without problems) and the ATO for DT (or the drinking water) kicks in - it should stop filling ATO Salt mixing station as long as some of these other processes run. What I do not know is if there will be a new 6 minutes waiting period when the ATO salt mix station start again. I do not think that - but I do not know.

If it is not working properly - at least you have got an idea how to work with this PL modules and you can test out exactly how you want it. Please comeback with your final programming so we all can learn.

Attached is the instructions for the PL modules

Sincerely Lasse
