Can you put two of the same species of corals, of different colors, close to each other, like birdsnest corals?

Yes most of the time they get along somtimes you get a little burning but just enough to tell the other to back off but somtimes one may try to over take the other. And I also believe it will increase growth but just my belief lol:tongue:

Ok, :) I got a little Christmas money, and I'm trying to figure out what I can afford, and what will live in my nano! Thanks! :)

Usually the same species will get along fine...however, that's not always the case. It's also somewhat tough to ID SPS down to the species level. Just keep an eye on them and if you notice any excessive sliming, or burning on one or the other, separate them

Well, I have a chance of getting two different colors of digitata, and two colors birdsnest, and I was going to put the two of the same species, close to each other, for a bit of contrast if I get them. I will see how they do for a while before permanent placing! Thanks! :)

You guys are so lucky that live close to sellers! I hate having to drive three hours one way to get what I would like to have! My only option, is watching ebay like glue, and getting from some of you guys, or people I've bought from before, that aren't three states away! :)
