Rain 2 help.

Hello! I have a rain 2 hooked up to my 6month old 130g. I am also running a protein skimmer and uv. I have has the rain 2 running for 3 weeks and the screen is perfectly clean running only 1 led.... I am perplexed..... what do I do?

The flow looks good across the bottom of the screen. Just let it continue... your rocks are probably too new to have much excess nutrients, and your glass probably does not need cleaning very often. Another week or two and you should see some color on the screen.

Need to clean glass about every week. I have some type of stringy stuff hanging off the rocks and was hoping it would stop this.....

Is normal for new 6-month rocks. As the scrubber fills in, the rocks will clear up.

Hello..... another two weeks and the screen is completely clean.....

I am running 1 light only 24 hours a day....

Please advise?

That is so wild that its so clear. Wish I could help. I've had one for about the same time and getting some nice growth.

How many lights do you have on?
are you running the lights 24/7?
How old is your tank?

Little update on this….. my tank is covered in green hair algae…. Nothing has grown on the rain 2…. The mesh plastic screen has broken….
I have installed this around Christmas…. I followed all the rules and my rocks are covered and the white mesh screen is has nothing…
The little plastic pieces has broken off the screen…. I can see why these are being sold….
Can you give me some advice

Your photo earlier shows that it was starting to pack the screen full, which would need often cleaning. And the rock is showing phosphate coming out of the rock. Get a current photo of the screen.

Thanks! I should have posted the photo, but the screen is completely bare. I did However just scrape some rock and used the toothbrush to put on the screen. The above photo with the screen filled is not mine… as you can see the screen is bare and I freshly put stuff on it

2 lights 8hhours

Hello again. Need help…. The lights have gone out on ome
Side… 2 of the bars are so dim…. One light out completely… the other side is bright- what’s the warranty on this? The screen is brittle and the tabs pulled off… very frustrating…

Looks like I'll need to send a new dome/lights, and a screen. Get me your address, and keep it running for now. Clean the screen, tray and slot.
