All my parameters are listed below and come back normal. I dose all for reef and levels are kept stable. Ph is constant at 8.3-8.4. I just have over the past few months had corals (torches, clams, and some chalices receed or die off slowly) I don’t know what the issue is. It seems like since I’ve switched to Tropic Marin pro reef salt that I’ve slowly had things die off more frequently 🤷‍♀️ not too sure though. My lights are good because I bought an apogee par meter just to make sure. Other corals like chalices, sps, anemone, zoas, etc are all doing great. The one rainbow chalice I’ve had over a year and then it randomly just died (pictured below).

No parameters listed, no pictures attached.

The only thing I can add is that switching salts sent 2 of my tanks on a downward spiral. When I switched back, it still took months for my tank to return to normal. I think that switching salts is hard on a tank and it will take time for everything to acclimate.

When you switch salts you have to do very slowly. Same thing happened to me when I switched salts without acclimating the salt to the tank.

Yeah I tried to upload the pics like 4 times from mobile app but they aren’t uploading. I switched to topic main like a year ago though. Torches will be fine for 3-4 months then just die off randomly and slowly. And now chalice is receeding and dying.

The more information you can provide the better. The chalice you had for a year and suddenly dying sounds like maybe an infection? Hard to say but a possibility. Only thing I can comment on with your information is the nitrates a little on the low side IMO. Slowly dying like you say with the torches and other chalice over a few months could be insufficient nutrition or lack of light. You mentioned a par meter but was kind of par? What lights?

Looks like bubbles and stuff on the rocks? Maybe algae is sucking up the nitrates and the corals are suffering? Can you get some photos in focus under white lights?
