I don’t think you get to tell them which anemone is their’s lolMy wife really likes pink skunks. Once the LTA gets big enough that might be the plan for it.

I think @KStatefan had a similar thing happen. I believe that’s just normal leather behavior. They’re weird.Unfortunate Updates
Sea Fan
The sea fan I got from Gulf Coast Ecosystems, which is red with white polyps, stopped extending its polyps a few days after arrival (unless it only does so in full dark), and is presumed dead. I'm leaving it in the tank because its skeleton is still very cool looking and it does not seem to grow algae. Perhaps it is just hanging on. I never intentionally feed it, but I dose a lot of phyto at night.
Yellow Leather
The yellow leather is also not doing very well. Not sure why. It most often has no polyps extended.
Willow Leather
Same for this leather, except it has considerably shrunk in size.![]()

I wouldn’t wait. Prognosis is best when treated earlier. It has the symptoms of an infection.
We already expected the magnifica to require antibiotics. They are notorious for this, and it was already slightly bleached.
Maybe people treat these guys prophylactically. I think now’s the best time.
Usually for a week, or until the mag stops deflating. How long does one treat the infection?
Sorry to hear your mag ended up needing to be treated, Randy.Magnifica Update
I understand the cyclic nature of these deflation cycles so that looking good doesn’t necessarily mean much (it also looked good yesterday morning) but it does certainly look fine right now before lights are on for the day:

I found that when I first got my mag It usually would start to look bad towards the middle of the day until night time it would go back to looking good.
