Has anyone used these? I have one installed on my 35 and it is too bright for my chalices to extend at night. Could I put a potentiometer on the AC side of the one led string to dim it?

I have the 4 led moonlight kit and they are almost to bright for my 60g.. When I had them hooked up on my 29g biocube I couldnt use them.. I dont think you can use a pot on them but you may want to contact them about the issue, they would be the ones that would know..

In the driver there's a small resistor, turquoise, in series with it I installed a 1K pot with a 100 ohm resistor. Easy mod rapid will email you

Can you unhook the power supply? Swap it out for a 3-12v 150ma power supply, and they will be dimmer.

+1 350mA is a bit bright

You can also use the Dimmable Mean Well ELN 30-48D which can drive 3-13 LEDs at 63-630mA

I agree Bill, 350 is too high. But that 1k pot method turns it down nicely
