RED KNOBBED STARFISH- advice and thoughts needed

Hello everyone.... one of my favorite sea stars are the knobbies.... I have a few questions before I purchase some....
1. Is it true that they MUST have a certain lighting to thrive?

2. Does anyone know how they reproduce and do we have a breeder in our community that raises them.

3. If at all possible can someone put up current pics of a full grown one?

4. Does the different shades of gray or brown a testimony to there health.
