Thanks Keith!Wow brother!! Beautiful!
Wow, beautiful Zack! Finally got around to grabbing some fresh full tank shots. Between relatives coming over to visit and some all nighter work benders i remembered and was in a position to do so before the heavy blues were on.
I think it is really starting to look good! Gha and cyano are mostly gone. I havent messed with that at all in a few weeks on the right island, and just a couple spot cleans on the center. (Still one more spot looks like and it will be clean) Should probably clean the back glass, the critters are dropping the ball there.

Thank you Kevin!Wow, beautiful Zack!
Thanks! Glad you found your way here even though the red carpet wasn't rolled out. You are a trooper for suffering through 6 years of my off-topic ramblings and blurry photos. Mental torture akin to the rack, no doubt.Well, I kept waiting and waiting and waiting. But I received no invitation from you, @Red_Beard, to check out your build thread. So, I figured I’d take a chance and read it. 17 pages over 6 years. Less than 3 pages a year. Seems like you’re somewhat a slacker. Yeah, so you have a little one, you’re married, do wood working, travel a bit but guess what? No one cares. It’s about reefing. Time to get the priorities right and straighten up. I only give 1 warning and, often times, not even that much.
Your tank has come along nicely and, in truth, I would not have read the thread if it were much more than 3 pages per year.
Well done!
I made a kalk stirrer once. Many, many moons ago. It was a stick I duct taped to my left hand. I cannot take credit for the original design as I got it from @Troylee.Thanks! Glad you found your way here even though the red carpet wasn't rolled out. You are a trooper for suffering through 6 years of my off-topic ramblings and blurry photos. I will try and step it up a bit in the reefing department, although that does go against the grain of my slacker ways lol. I am working on building a kalk stirrer right now, mostly just knocking off avasts design though and putting a micro controller in it. Maybe I'll post a pic of that once it's installed.
Mean time, fish pic.

Lol, i think you may have over engineered itI made a kalk stirrer once. Many, many moons ago. It was a stick I duct taped to my left hand. I cannot take credit for the original design as I got it from @Troylee.

Kalk is the back bone of sps!Lol, i think you may have over engineered it
Hard to argue with @Troylee on his results though. And it being a super cheap and effective way to both get kh and calcium as well as keep ph up.

Yes, please post pics of the final product of your Kalk stirerrerrrr. Looking forward to seeing it.Sitting at my desk watching the lid print for my Kalk stir-er, it is coming along. would be done already but ran out of filament and had to restock. I will post pics of that once it is all assembled, but in the meantime, here is the latest tank pic:
Got some help starting my zoa garden LOL

Will do!Yes, please post pics of the final product of your Kalk stirerrerrrr. Looking forward to seeing it.
Where did the help come from with the garden you've started?
Ill clean the glass tomorrow.
(i probably won't)
Dang, crisis averted! Good thing you didn't procrastinate it even moreI know that feeling! I probably won’t do a water change, haha.
Actually, yesterday did a water change that turned into a sump exchange I’ve been procrastinating about for a while; one thing led to another… then discovered that one of my PVC pipes didn’t get cemented and had water gushing out down below deck. Can’t believe it held together for two years without a major catastrophe!

Why thank you, I appreciate that. Good to see you here!Man, I don't know how I forgot to follow your thread brother, but im here now at least! Great, great looking build, my friend.
That is awesome man! You can already tell these are going to be nice when they open up. Keep us posted with some pics.Exciting news! Got a box of goodies from @Camaro Show Corals today from the August supporting member giveaway! Definitely got hooked up :) He sent them in those neat coral shippers too (love those. going to keep and reuse!) So far they are looking good, have them chilling in the sand for a day or two to get settled. Stay tuned for some awesome pics once they do!

I support this! Ill help stir the situation by playing a manic live performance by Frank Zappa.Seven days seems too long for no action to have occurred on this thread. I decided to remedy the situation.
Update? Any updates?
