Also, here is proof of life:
1778296368479.png

It has been on auto pilot for the last monthish, only top up water, skimmer emptying, and alk check 1x a week.
Alk hasn't been bad, it was 6.5 when i measured it Wednesday, dosed a bit of soda ash and bumped up my kalk dose to compensate. Not bad at all though, i think all my frags are starting to grow pretty good is what dropped it, they are visually getting bigger now. I better get off my lazy rear and plant them!
Beautiful tank! I think I started to read your thread once before but because its so long I got side tracked. This time I started at the end, LOL. I love looking at other 75g aquariums and yours is a beauty. I am sure no matter where you put those frags they will look great.

I have an awesome day planned of swapping furniture from the basement to upstairs and back. I'm loving every minute of it!
At least you won't have to worry about leg day this week! :)

Oh, the horror!! 😱
6761.jpg

I did decide to remove that digi. Still chewing on where to put it though.

It doesnt even look like i touched that monti even though i broke off at least half of it.
6762.jpg

Thinking about putting that tropicana on the right island in the middle of all that blue. I was going to put the yellow spath there, but it is more of a tabler so i decided i better not. I might put it on the edge a little higher just below the diabloberrybow on thay same structure and see if it will table into the middle (probably wont want to because of my tanks center brace though :/ ) Either that, or the braincandy table. Still mulling over where to put bees knees, lunar lemon, kermit granny, firthfantathy, aqua delight pink caddy, snipers blue, bozo the nasuta, csc rocketsauce, b.p.g, twilight dragon and another pink hyacinthus. I might mount bill murray now too i think. Nero table almost got smothered by discosoma, so i rescued it. It is now on the back rack with the red hot hat who is also recovering after almost stn'ing totally the day after unbagging.
I also kept a piece of the frogskin and birds nest from those colonies i traded in. I am beginning to think i have a problem....

And that it is that I need a bigger tank...

Pruning is tough especially when you're pruning healthy coral. Man, you are getting pretty tight in there to grow stuff out. Bigger tank or go old school rock wall to have more places to put stuff. That said, I love the open scapes you have much better. Good luck!

Thanks man. I do love the format of a 180, but if we had a 1,000,000 gallon tank, we'd fill that up too!

Cargo shorts, Crocs (socks optional), and a nice T-shirt or polo.
Oh well, two out of three ain't bad: cs, yes, t-shirt/polo, yes, Crocs, only got Birkenstocks. BTW Birks are lousy driving shoes, kind of like have 2x4s duct-taped to your feet.

I think I'm due for a water change today. If I can sneak away from the kids, I might even try and get some of my frags mounted. Im still torn on where to put some of them. I have 5 or 6 that I am really fond of amd want to make sure that they are a focal piece, but i only have space for 2-3 in the best most prominant spots :/ This indecision is what has tabled this activity for so long. I might just have to just get on with it and let the chips fall where they may.
What is on you agenda today? Any tank related or tank adjacent activities? Anything just for fun or exciting?
Lawn/irrigation work. Into work to fix the CTS-V, play with children. In between it all 24 Hours of Nürburgring 🤘it’s been epic so far. Now sporting KC game…ya we bad!

That sounds like a fantastic way to spend the day, you will have to share what you find!
Titan gave us a demonstration of how they remove scratches from acrylic, and they didn't hold back.

AZFRAG_Titan-20260516.jpg

That was a fresh, still papered 1/2" acrylic. They handed a round rasp to a member and had them score up the sheet. Then they proceeded to sand the scratches out. They also answered questions about acrylic in-place repair and cleaning. They followed with a tour of the facility. There was a new shark tank almost finished for Ocean Floor (a Phoenix LFS), some kind of a semi-circular drop off enclosure for a Butterfly Pavilion in Colorado, and a few thick acrylic viewing panes for swimming pools under construction.

I bought two corals at the auction. I'll post more photos over in my thread after I take them but I bought a
Myagi tort (the rear one, not front one) and a Ryan’s Blue Stag, circled in the photo.

That is awesome! Way cool of Titan to put on a live demo. I am digging the pale growth tips on that stag, will be watching for it and the Myagi tort in your tank!

It was soo much fun. Thank you for indulging me and letting me share :)

Not I, though I did also have a handful of wings while holding the camera taking that shot. (Pinky in though, im just a street urchin at heart) That is our division manager. The team was me, a coworker our supervisor and div. manager.
You know, man, I didn't really think that was you as I don't remember you having any grey in your beard... yet. Speaking of which, you letting it grow out again or keeping it short?
