I trimmed it short, just in time to get some sun on my cheeks for the summer. I think around September I'll let it get long again. You know, man, I didn't really think that was you as I don't remember you having any grey in your beard... yet. Speaking of which, you letting it grow out again or keeping it short?
We ended up at a place called Slick City. It was all slides! Needless to say. I am very sore and can hardly move this morning!Nice, happy birthday to them! Trampoline park sounds like a lot of fun!

You must sock your crocks! I got my first pair of crocks for Easter this year. With a firm warning that I must never wear them with my wife in public....Cargo shorts, Crocs (socks optional), and a nice T-shirt or polo.

Both...definitely both!!!A bigger tank or smaller coral!
Oooof...my man....you are having a rough season! But you guys did have a decent outing against Austin! RSL fan here! (So we must be bitter rivals?) We are having a decent season, but I fear we are going to suffer a similar fate as 2023 (sale of Gomez to Europe and Arrango quiet quiting on the team in protest) due to our rising stars (Gozo specifically) performing exceptionally well...they will all get sold during the summer transfer window and we will crash and burn there after....Lawn/irrigation work. Into work to fix the CTS-V, play with children. In between it all 24 Hours of Nürburgringit’s been epic so far. Now sporting KC game…ya we bad!
My kids had an annual pass to Slick City this past year. They visited almost 3 times a week every week.We ended up at a place called Slick City. It was all slides! Needless to say. I am very sore and can hardly move this morning!

I wish i had a place like this near me! My boy would LOVE IT!My kids had an annual pass to Slick City this past year. They visited almost 3 times a week every week.
I was surprised how cheap the membership/passes were compared to a single 90 hrs session! For juat a few bucks more you could get a monthly membership! My kids had an annual pass to Slick City this past year. They visited almost 3 times a week every week.
It was a lot of fun, Im just getting old and am feeling it this morning! That looks like so much fun!
Yeah. They are actually quite good this year!! I am surprised they loaned Arrango out though....@08TRDOFFROAD
Nice to see some other Futbol fans around here. I’m a San Jose Earthquakes supporter (live in WA but I’m from the Bay Area). Quakes actually don’t stink this season so that’s a nice surprise.
It just recently opened here! This was our very first trip there!I wish i had a place like this near me! My boy would LOVE IT!

Annual passes go on sale here coming up pretty quick if I recall correctly (or it's right after summer vacation). The sale price is basically an annual membership pass for the price of 5 of the 90 minute sessions.I was surprised how cheap the membership/passes were compared to a single 90 hrs session! For juat a few bucks more you could get a monthly membership!

Very resilient unless it’s expensive then if you look at it wrong it dies.I forget sometimes how resilient some corals can be. I had brushed all the remaining pieces of that forest fire digi with a stiff bristle brush until it looked totally dead. Today, it was back to red, polyps out normal.
I mixed up a slurry of sodium and calcium hydroxide and hosed it down. Hopefully i got it all, that is some prime real estate up there. I do wonder what the algae situation will be like on all that freshly bare skeleton though.

If you have enough of a CUC, they will concentrate on any growth on the bare areas. I just put a new rock in my tank a couple 9f months ago and the CUC kept it clean. Can’t even tell the difference anymore.
That is straight up truth right there. $10 unkillable frag vs the $200 'a fish swam past it so it died' frag.I'm thinking of reclaiming some prime time real estate myself, but I've never removed a colony yet and it was my first sps, a purple stylo, so I'm hesitant haha. Between that and a red Pocillpora, ice list A LOT of space.. good idea about scrubbing with a brush though.. my stylo has quite the base!I forget sometimes how resilient some corals can be. A true reef in the making! Corals on top of corals :) I hear they encrust better on old skeletons too, i guess we are about to find out!I'm thinking of reclaiming some prime time real estate myself, but I've never removed a colony yet and it was my first sps, a purple stylo, so I'm hesitant haha. Yea, i'm considering just moving the colony entirely and replanting it. It's my largest and most established colony. Adds a nice touch besides little boogers glued everywhere haha. Nerve racking though. LolA true reef in the making! Corals on top of corals :) I hear they encrust better on old skeletons too, i guess we are about to find out!
I had been so reluctant to clear up or prune things, but i am finding it not so bad as i had built it up in my mind to be. I would say, if you arent in love with them and they are in the best spots, trim away! You can always keep a chunk or two to replant elsewhere if you change your mind, that stuff grows fast!
Are you going and removing that colony all together, fragging it all or just relocating?Wishing you all the best on your memorial day, and a solemn bow of the head for all those who have sacrificed everything for us.
This has been a very well appreciated reprieve at our house. Spent time with the wife and kids, did some chores, let the wife get some time off her swollen pregnant feet, and, I was able to finally really get all up in my tank's business like i have been threatening to do for months now. Progress has been made!

I trimmed a buuuunch of stuff too, to see if it will all fill in evenly. The sad nub of where copp's cali-cali used to dominate the island still remains, poking up above strawberry fields. As does the sad nub of tyree's blue stag on the right island. But, at least i can see the acroberry! (which will summarily be hidden once more behind the pink caddy and BPG...)
For reference, this is what once was (blue stag not pictured, it was ~4-5 inches):

Still pondering where colliderscope, kermit granny, and yellow spath need to go. Suggestions welcome :)

Glad you had time for all of that! Tank looks great and that's a huge colony! WOW!! Hope you find a nice place or home for it.Wishing you all the best on your memorial day, and a solemn bow of the head for all those who have sacrificed everything for us.
