I bought a used RedSea 50 light for a 24 x 24 x 24 tank (60g). Is this adequate wattage for the tank? I plan to maintain LPS only. Thanks.

it will be ok for LPS, just put anything more light demanding in the center or higher up.. This fixture will struggle to produce significant PAR at the sandbed/bottom of a tank that deep, but it should be fine for most LPS.

Its a 50 watt light. If it was me I would put a 100-150 watt light on that size tank, so I think 50 watts is a little bit underpowered and might have shaded area's lower down.
