From everyone's experience which inverts pack the most powerful punch at keeping everything in check
 
Agreed on Trochus snails...plus they can right themselves before your H. melanurus can grab it!
 
Trochus here as well, I also like the Ceriths. They sleep in the sand and eat algae off the glass and rocks so you get two functions in one.
 
depends on the size tank, add a Conch on that Trochus.
