I used this style, male and female panel mount non solder plugs and haven't had any issues with them. https://www.amazon.com/LUTIONS-8inches-3-Screw-Terminal-Connector/dp/B01LWK3G1L/ref=mp_s_a_1_11?ie=UTF8&qid=1542660981&sr=8-11&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=3.5+plug&dpPl=1&dpID=41MgumQRW+L&ref=plSrch . If that isn't what you want, there is nothing saying you can't use terminal strips like https://www.amazon.com/Blue-Sea-Sys...nal+strips&dpPl=1&dpID=41dWHWEBPfL&ref=plSrch
So What I am having an issue with is not the male end. Those from adafruit are solid pieces. Its the female ends that are failing on me. I have ordered two sets from adafruit now and looks like all the ones on amazon are basically the same thing.
