That's a SB Reeflights Ultra 45" Very flexible programming and way more power than I need at this time. It's kinda cool you can setup several programs and easily change back and forth as needed or wanted.
The Firefish are one of my favorites. There are 3 in the tank all put in together at the same time. 2 paired up and had been pushing the odd one around a bit. Nothing mean, just like shunning the odd one out. I recently added a very small clown, starry blenny and a pink watchman goby. The little clown and the odd one out Firefish have become buddies for the time being. Yeah!

Really?! The new SB ReefLight looks totally different than the predecessors. And yeah, what you described with the firefish is typical, unless apparently you've got a larger number of them. Either way, glad you have a pair working so far. Hopefully they stay that way.

Are those pinkish gorgonians? If so are they photosynthetic or non? Really beautiful. I love them. Have several in my coral Qt tank right now!

Hello Reef2Reef'ers!

Let me preface this post by saying that your tank doesn't have to be packed full of mature sps coral colonies and have the best gear to be included. But we will need a decent photo. :)

We want to start a new series of threads where we feature a Reef Tank from one of our members. It will be a simple bit of info and photo of your tank with link to your build thread. If you're interested then please share a full or partial tank shot that you're proud of and the following data.

  • Full or Partial Photo
  • Tank Size
  • Date Started
  • Link to R2R build thread

And that's it!

If we use your tank then your tank will receive recognition and you will receive a spiffy new "Reef Tank 365" badge under your name!

Yes - they are a little bit pinkish in my aquarium and they are photosynthetic. Normally they are more brownish but in my aquaria - they have got this colour
