hey all! been visiting various threads to amass parts for conversting my red sea reefer 300xl from 32mm to 1” piping for the drain line. still feel overheated by the DIY plumbing conversion.
going to replace the factory valve to a 1” gate valve as well since I heard the red sea one isnt the best. the down drain will plumb right into stage 1 in the sump which will be the bubble magnus filter roller.
What I have this far: 1” pipe, 1” gate valve, 32mm to 1” pipe adapter, and red sea part 42221….How am I looking on parts? see anything else I need? I waa thinking I need a 32mm to 1” coupler for the adapter and a 32mm to 1” union would be useful perhaps?
