I'm sorry to see this. But can anyone really be surprised at this point?

Yeah, those clamps will do the job, but, I would put a strip of wood between the glass and clamp.

You think it would survive without it. I am honestly petrified to loosen the clamps because that seem is almost split all the eay to the bottom. Got the clamps on within seconds of a complete failure.

I’m so tired of seeing these posts. Not from your end but it makes me sick that so many have been burned by Red Sea. I won’t buy any of their products and I hope they go out of business from this. It’s completely unacceptable. I’ve got an innovative marine tank and it’s been rock solid but I think I’m gonna go custom with full eurobracing on the top and bottom for peace of mind with my next tank.

Oof… my condolences…

Just yesterday, I broke down a G2 Reefer XL 525 that had split the front right seam and dumped over 100 gallons of saltwater on the owner’s floor at 3am one morning…

This is an extreme case, but I’d hate to see you suffer the same fate! that said, more info might help us point you towards a game plan which keeps your floors dry!

— is this “few weeks” the lead time before a new tank arrives?

— if so, is the new tank going in the same location as this Reefer?
