Doser update...

It appears i've been deceived. Not only is Aqua cave, premium aquatics, and BRS, sold out of the GHL 2.1 doser but so is Aquarium Computer or the main GHL distributor. I received an email saying that Germany should be shipping out Thursday. So frustrating. I need to be out of town this weekend and hand dosing twice a day is not fun. #1stworldissues

Just received a UPS tracking number for the doser. Shipping out of Florida today... So weird..

Im not sure. Its actually Gelidium. With a rescent valonia outbreak, the snails had to go.

Not dealing with thus right and who knows, the damage is probably already done.

Lol. The chess game continues.
A fwiw, I’ve got a dozen bizzaro algaes in the big tank sometimes they flare up. Mostly not. Dictoya was dormant for years , till I used the balling salts for cal and alk. (Boom!).
Switched to Esv and it’s fading again.
I also have a large ball of codium. It came from a Japanese salad mix, that died ,lol. That was 3 years ago.

I try not to look at it as damage , just nature’s latest chess move.

The 30 I just popped every bubble an scrubbed.(near plague prob from di gone bad) Probably going to try fluc on it while they are small.

I’ve been looking at the reefhd , seems cheaper..... but you know how that can go..... lol. Dosages seem the same, I don’t know if it’s similar in effect and more importantly side effects. If you see reviews let me know. So far I’ve seen few.

Well im freaking out this morning. Tested alk yesterday and it was 7.3. Test alk this morning and its 10.2

Keeping lights off today. Dosed some nutrients. I'll have to deal with this later. Argh.

When I went from TM balling to Esv I hit 14 in under two weeks.

Haha! Yeah I remember talking to you about the concentration of ESV. The seachems fusion is very similar in strength. Not sure why the test kit was so far off. I have been testing a lot lately and I might have mixed the calcium vile with alk vile. Oops

I did however dosed po4 without an exact measurement. Eeeh ya so I might have spiked po4 a little higher than I would have liked.

To anyone reading this, just remember to not freak out. I think I even told myself that about 10 times this morning and still i freaked out...

I decided I'm going to start a new thread. I ordered a new phone and my tank is on a new path. I think a fresh thread with 4k images and video will look much nicer!

Can't decide if I want to update the thread or make a new one. Till then, updated pic with new phone. Not sure if I like it. Does look better though.

Thanks! Still a little troublesome. Couple spots of gha and cyano growing. Might even be a few strands of bryopsis. Right now letting po4 fall and seeing how it transitions away from fritz salt. Been doing 5% water changes weekly with tropic marin pro. The GHL doser has been a godsend with keeping alk stable. Crossing fingers.
