So here we go.
Last October I won the waterbox 130.4 in the early drawing giveaway for partner membership. I talked with waterbox and set up paying the difference for the 230.6 when it was available.
Equipment to be used: bubble king mini 180 Gen 1, waterblaster hy5000, Sfiligoi stealth delta 3x250 metal halide and 8x80 t5ho, 2x vortech mp40, Neptune Apex classic. There will be more added to this list later on.
It took 4 people with industrial suction cups to lift this beast.
Thank you to everyone who helped and thank you to waterbox for this amazing aquarium.

Awesome fixture. How the heck did you get one of those?
Lol I found it on offer up 2 days ago for $60. It needed the tempered glass shield (on order now) all the ballasts (I picked up 3 vertex 250w ballasts used for 20 each) I still need the t5 ballasts because the ones currently in the fixture are 220 volt.

I like my Giesemann Spectra but I really yours because of the additional T5s. MH/T5 is great.
I was looking at getting a spectra but would not have been able to afford it for a couple of months. I really did get a steal on this fixture and I am glad I held out for as long as I did.

Slowly getting this build going. Installed the light a couple of days ago, but still haven't rewired the t5 plug. This picture was from test fitting the light so the cords are an eyesore.

If anyone knows where to get something to plug into this connector please let me know.

I love that minimalist aquascape! Assuming that is the finished product.

Lol oh no.i wish I could do minimalist but I need to transfer everything from my 80gallon tank.
IMG_20180814_180610.jpg

LOL, I had a feeling there was more to come. The 80 gallon looks great and everyone looks ready for a much bigger tank!

Well yesterday was very productive. I started the day off by going to a couple of local fish stores looking for a tang, visited Vivid Creative Aquatics, and transferred over half of my coral from my 80 gallon. I stared all of this at 10am and didn't finish aclimating my coral until 2am this morning.

My visited VCA amazing, I was able to see the production of this amazing company and most of their products as well.

Here are some of the models of the RFG when you walk into the front office of VCA. Check out how huge the yellow one is!

Here is a new concept to show off flow of the RFG. It works amazingly well. If you want to see it, it will be on display at MACNA vegas in September, or give their office a visit in Phoenix AZ.

Here is one of the larger printers.

Here is one of the printers in action.

The 3d printing room was mezmorizing. This was the first time I have seen a 3d printer in person. So cool! Each printer has its own superhero name and "personality". Hulk likes to smash! Lol

All the goodies I came home with. :)

The addapter was the reason I went to VCA in the first place. In case anyone is wondering, the adapter needed for the random flow genorator is the same as the waterbox 130.4, the part is the 22mm adapter.

Thank you for the tour and the amazing products you have created.

Do you have any shots of your return plumbing underneath? I have a 170.4/5 coming and want to know how it all attaches underneath. I will be using a Varios6 return pump and also want to add in my Neptune 1" flow meter.

@Richards_reef - thanks so much you for stopping by. Really enjoyed meeting both of you. I'm glad were able to determine that our 22mm Waterbox Adapters fit the newer Waterbox models as well. Can't wait to see this build come together.

I will get a picture when I get home. Your sump should be different from mine. The 230 comes with an external Reservoir for the ATO. I am not sure what's the difference will be with your plumbing.

ok thanks! There shouldn't be much difference with the return plumbing. Is it a 1" return hose?

On the 230 Yes but it tapers down to something around 3/4 just before the T. The lockline they use is metric 22mm as far as I understand.
