Hi guys

I bot 2 ( not too big ) rock flower .
well, who do I attach them to the sand?
I wave makers were off the whole night , they they still didn't burry ( attach to the sand) of of them even got out from the sand, , as soon as I turn on the wave makers, it will float with the flow .

do I dig in in the sad? and it will get out by itself?
I just made a little hole with my finger, put it there, ( didn't cover it with a sand)

thank you

It will move on its own. My guess is that they will end up in the rock work. A suggestion, reduce your flow, and set a short acclimation period on your lighting. If you want to be extra cautious turn off all your flow for a while.

When I got mine it was on a rock. I put it near the bottom and it moved onto the sand and has stayed in the same place ever since. About 3 years. Most anemones will go where they want. Rock flower's tend to move less then others once they find their spot

I have one rock 'nem which decided to go high up in the rocks, a few that are low but completely attached to rock, and the majority like to be half and half, partially on the floor and the remainder on the adjacent rock. If you have really strong flow, then definitely follow the advice above and either reduce it or temporarily turn it off to give the 'nems a chance to anchor.

Mine have attached to rock and also on the sand. I just put them in the tank and they did attach where they want . you might want to start near the rock work or next to the side of the tank .

when I was buying it, they had like 100 of them in tank, all on the sand, so I was asked to put it on the sand, and it was supposed to attach itself, well, not really, I made a hole with a finger and put it there, is stays there, but doesn't looks the same as in store uff

When I got my rock flower anemone, I put it in a hole in a rock with the pumps off to allow it to foot itself. It never liked being in rocks. It would throw itself off the ledge and fall to the sand. So, knowing anemones do whatever the heck they want, I let it be. It is happy where the sand meets rock. Had to tear apart the tank to get fish out later on down the road but again it placed itself where sand meets rock.

Agreed.....a 'nem's gonna nem. As much as we would like to place and scape them, they never read the user manual and go where they please. And just when you think everything is settled in the tank, one large 'nem decides its time to live on the other side of town and kick out the neighbors.
