So just got TDS meter, I have a 6 stage rodi with a booster pump. Membrane replaced 6 months ago, all other filters and dual di resins were replaced 2 months ago. Now the TDS meter is reading 126 before membrane, 22 after, and 17 after di. What this sucks I just spent a lot on all these filters and resin. HELP

How often do you use it? I would change the RO membrane 6 months is quite old.

did you calibrate your tds meter? 100psi is pretty high. generally you want 40-80. have you tested for chlorine? what micron rating are your sediment and carbon? what is your waste/product ratio? what brand did you buy for the membrane and filters? are you on a well?

lots of questions but i’m trying to hit all angles.

According to the ro rejection rate I found you are only getting a rejection rate of 82.5%. Not great.
With 22 tds going into your di canister, you are going to blow through di resin pretty fast.
Last time you changed out the carbon blocks did you rinse or run water through them without letting it go through the membrane?
If you didn't, that might be a reason on the poor rejection rate.

Ok so i bought this second hand I don't know how many gallons per day it is rated for. Please tell me if I am running everything correctly. Water goes to booster pump, then through sediment, then through two carbon, then tees to 2 membranes, then to dual di. Sound right is 100 psi to much? Sorry for messy pic.

Well water or city?

What size micron on sediment filters?

Yes 100psi is too hi. Upwards of 80-90 and you’re pushing the limits of fittings.

What brand RODI unit?

3)then through two carbon, Ok
4)then tees to 2 membranes, Ok
5)then to dual di. Ok
Is 100 psi to much? Yes You want about 60-80
Do you have a flush valve on the unit to flush the ro membranes?
I dont see the waste lines in the picture. You do have one for the rejected water coming out of the ro units? Since it "T"s into them you might have 2 .
Your water out of the ro should be in the single digits not 22 We know something is wrong at this point.
One other thought You bought this second hand and say the membrane is only 6 months old. Could it have dried out?

Yup, there that, and if there is a tee to each membrane than there should be a tee to bring them back together before di resin. Unless the have separate di resin chambers, which would then have 2 separate product water lines

Inline TDS meters are known to have a relatively short lifespan. I would buy a hand held for about $20 while you are troubleshooting
