RODI unit confirmation

I’m looking at buying a rodi unit as I’m getting sick of buying it from the LFS, it’s all a bit confusing tho so I wanted to make sure I’m getting the right thing. Will this unit make good quality water https://shieldwaterfilter.com.au/co...reverse-osmosis-fish-tank-rodi-filters-system Thanks.

Looks like the di filter isn’t refillable. Seems that thing would get expensive to keep replacing as di resin gets eaten up fairly quickly depending on your source water.

This one costs more but will be a better system overall. Also that systems webpage advertises it as a drinking water system and RODI water is not safe for consumption!

The basic would be: sediment filter - carbon filter ro membrane - DI

Oh, well they are simple enough units that you could buy a plain ro unit then get two extra canisters to plumb into it for di resin.
